Much larger capacity than the Business Card shaped CD DVD
The ordinary Business Card shaped CD has a capacity of only about 30MB to 50MB. This can store image data. But in the case of video data, the capacity is sufficient for storing only a few minutes of low quality data.Free Shaped DVD is a DVD with nine times (9 pieces) the capacity of an ordinary Business Card shaped CD in the case of a single layer on a single side and seventeen times (17 pieces) the capacity for a dual layer on a single side.Depending on the shape, shaped DVD can store data from 450MB to 2.66GB, so that high quality video data, which cannot be stored on an ordinary Business Card shaped CD, can be stored for use in sales promotion activities.
You can shape freely as you like
The DVD is made of almost the same materials as the CD and its recording method is also almost the same. However, the following differences give the DVD a much larger storage capacity than the CD.
- Its recoding density is higher than the CD.
- Although its thickness is 1.2 mm, the as same as the CD, two 0.6 mm plates are laid on the DVD, and it can store data on the dual layers at maximum on a single side. This technology for shaping freely is relatively easy in the case of a CD with a single layer. With our technology, it becomes possible to provide DVD’s with unique shapes, for instance shapes of your new products or characters, etc.

You can basically view videos (images) with a PC only. And only images of low quality can be captured due to the limited capacity of the CD. One of the major reasons why the DVD has spread so quickly is that the DVD has overcome the issue where the available platform was limited to a PC only.
With video game machines such as the PlayStation, X-Box, and less expensive DVD players and DVD recorders, you can view DVD contents with not only a PC but also a TV screen at home.
